Pascal Mohy learnt the classical language, and then breathed in jazz at about the age of 14, first with Benoît Sourssie and then with Eric Legnini. It's all about groove, swing and pulses. Jazz flows in his veins.
He was awarded a Django D'Or as a young talent in 2007. He married his music to that of Mélanie De Biasio, and later Quentin Liégeois. He shares his talent with Greg Houben and Julie Mossay. And each time, he breathes a gentle breeziness that frees the music, inviting it to reinvent and rediscover itself.
His touch shines, the phrasing is refined. It's all in the dosing, the mix of gentleness and strength, sensuality and rigour, tensions and languor.
