Piano duets, four-hand piano and synthe pieces, electric and acoustic piano : three formulae that give this music its distinctive sound. The combination of the piano, centuries old, made of wood, felt and steel, with the synthesizer, the “wünderkind” of modern technology, opened the doors to a world which is antique, past, lost – but also searched for, omnipresent, desired, unreal, strange, unfamiliar to the mind, familiar in dreams : a world where nostalgia resembles contemplation, where action runs into emotion.
