Back to the origins of Igloo Records. The initiative to create the label then came to three people: Gabrielle Bauwelinckx, Jean-Paul Ganty and Daniel Sotiaux. The initial idea is to edit a recording by Jean-Paul Ganty. He is an actor, but above all a reciter. For years, he has offered recitals in theaters and café-theaters where he mixes committed texts and texts from literary heritage. It was the desire of Jean-Paul (who met Daniel Sotiaux during their university years) to record some of his interpretations on disk that launched the Igloo project. To achieve their goal, they have to invent everything. Find the studio, the pressing plant, the printing house for the cover, find the graphic designer, think about distribution, etc. This was followed by the creation of a non-profit organization which will announce other projects.
