A big band (eighteen musicians and a narrator, Jean-Paul Ganty, directed by Jean-Luc Saucin) for a great harvest of sounds. Between jazz, Fellini, the Black Country (mining region of Charleroi), Jean-Luc Saucin, computer scientist by profession and musician at heart, merges modern and experimental research with contemporary jazz trends. This record is the label’s first “jazz” recording. Unfortunately, the distribution turns out to be a failure. There was no real promotional tour, so the record remained fairly confidential. What happened ? A question that will remain unanswered, because Jean-Luc Saucin will die a few years later.
