“Au pavillon de la garde” is an avant-garde album of free jazz solo and duo piano recorded in March 1981 on the initiative of the RTBF as part of Christian Dupont’s program “En avant les musiques”. It brings together Christian Leroy, then a young musician freshly honored with the Prix du Hainaut and Fred Van Hove, a key Belgian musician on the free-jazz scene.
The vinyl cover was created – once again – by the artist Alain Géronnez.
