Born in Mons in 1952, Christian Leroy has asserted itself for 30 years among the Belgian type-setters most creative. In 1979, it creates alive the Musique unit which will quickly become the Métarythmes Trio of the Air, with Philippe Saucez and Jose Bedeur. This unit will become a quintet and takes part in various experiments of Belgian and international scenes by crossing the way of many artists of other disciplines.

In 1994, Christian Leroy composes with the Métarythmes unit an original music for the silent film Dracula de Tod Browning and continues the same step for the film Nanouk worship the Eskimo of Robert Flaherty and for film the last of the men of F.W. Murnau.
