Born in 1961, Fred Wilbaux’s reputation for a long time rested on his interpretations of rock music, French songs and Brazilian rhythms. In 1986 he decided to look for a new musical direction. Between 1989 and 1993 he toured as a solo pianist, then early in 1995 he formed a trio playing entirely acoustic music: the unplugged three perform a delightful blend of their own compositions and arrangements of their favourite recorded music.
