For his first album under his own name, Lionel Beuvens worked with noted musicians from the four corners of Europe, in particular two long-standing friends, the Finnish pianist Alexi Tuomarila and the French double-bassist Brice Soniano. An encounter with the Finnish trumpeter Kalevi Louhivuori brought perfect harmony to the group.

Throughout this first work, Lionel Beuvens offers a varied repertoire that demonstrates the wealth of his writing, where the groove is at the service of the melody and melody at the service of the groove.
